Great but runs very small

I ordered what I normally would since I know lingerie runs small. I am a 14/16 in regular clothing so I ordered a 1x/2x. This was super small. The thong was similar to what I would consider a medium. I had ordered a similar outfit in a 3x/4x since my regular size was sold out and that fit good but definitely runs small as I have never worn a 3x/4x. This outfit is gorgeous though I would just order several sizes up if you can.
