My boyfriend and I got the matching top gun costumes and are very excited for Halloween! I am 5'3" and 185lbs and got the XL. I carry all of my weight in my butt and thighs so the XL is a bit big around my waist and chest but needed the room for my butt. I wish it had been tighter in my waist to show off the sexiest part of my body. Also the legs are long for someone short, but this is to be expected for something like this and can be hemmed. Overall, costume fits and looks sexy on my curvy frame. The fabric is definitely one to show cellulite so I will be wearing a catsuit Spanx under - which all together looks AMAZING and sexy. The only issue I have is that in the crotch they used a regular stitch instead of a coverstitch (I am a sewer) and with any knit (particularly this one) a regular stitch is going to burst when stretched. As predicted, I tried the costume on and the seam ripped open in the crotch. YIKES! Would not have been fun on Halloween. Luckily, I do own an coverstitch machine and plan to just mend it rather than return, since my boyfriend and I like the couples costume overall. Certainly disappointing for the price, though.
