Today, the LA Times announced that a person posing as 23-year-old lingerie model, Bree Condon, on popular dating sites for nearly two years is actually a 24-year-old soprano-voiced man named Justin Brown. What’s worse, Brown apparently conned several wealthy men to pay for her company during his spree — $15,000 for one Miami-based doctor — without ever actually meeting “her”.
There are many things that wealth affords, and, indeed, beautiful women are sometimes one of them (see: Tiger Woods). However, a certain level of skepticism is necessary, especially when encountering these hotties online. Consequently, it’s tough to have sympathy for the “victims” of this scheme.
While Condon may not have been on the site, an equally attractive feminina with questionable morals could have a field day with this type of operation. Scary to think.
